High School

I went to Viscount Bennet High School from 1955 to 1961. In grade 11 (see photo), my home room teacher was Mr. Ferguson. I dated Jean Charette for about a year. I remember that once we walked to Glenmore Park with a rifle to shoot at some tin cans. A city official came along for something and we were worried that we might hit him so we stopped shooting. We picked up our tin cans and went home. I got a Dominion of Canada bronze medal for target shooting, 22 calibre. A friend, Sharon Milburne, asked me to join her in shooting. at an indoor rifle range, in Kensington, I believe. It was all very strict. I absolutely loved it.
